Our pew cushions are made to the exact width of your pews so they fit snugly in between the pew ends and usually don't need fasteners to hold them in place.
By making your pew cushions without a zipper, you flip them fron to back and top to bottom for maximum longivity and wear.
When subject to normal church usage, these pew cushions are guaranteed to keep their shape and maintain their comfort for 15 years from date of purchase. Fabric wear is guaranteed by the fabric mill depending on the fabric chosen. This guarantee does not cover changes in color that can occur from sunlight. Does not apply to cushions that are mistreated or cleaned using unapproved cleaning methods. (Example:If you clean them with bleach, and they discolor, we cannot help you, or if you put them in storage for 5 years with heavy furniture on them and complain they are mis-formed, we will look at you funny and question your sanity.)
How to Measure for Pew Cushions

To determine the width (Figure2), measure from the back corner of the seat (where seat & back meet) to the start of the radius at the front edge. If the radius is large (Figure3), then measure half way down the radius.
How to Measure Curved and Mitred Pews and Altar Rails

Most curved cushions require a paper template. This is necessary to determine the radius of the curve and the angles of the ends. The best way to do this would be starting with a roll of paper 8 to 12 inches wider and also longer than the pew.
Lay the paper in the pew over-lapping the back and ends.
With a marker, trace the back of the seat (where seat & pew back meet) and the ends. This will give you the curve and total lenght.
Trim off the excess paper in the back and ends. Then you can trim the front.
Measure the pew width (front to back) and mark it on the pattern. The front trim of the paper does not have to be 100% accurate.
How to Measure Pews or Altar Rails with Angled or Mitered Ends
If cushions are curved, and angled on both ends, follow directions above for making a template.
If cushions are straight with mitred (angled) ends, furnish the measurements as per below:

CLEANING PEW CUSHIONS
Our modern fabrics lend ease to cleaning. All carry a factory stain resistant
treatment: Scotchguard, Teflon or Blockaide.
We recommend periodic vacuuming as well as reversing to prevent accumulation of dust and prolonged wear. Occasional spot cleaning or bushing with a stiff light brush will add more life to the beauty of your cushions.
The cushions can be spot cleaned using most retail upholstery cleaning products.
Remember to test a small hidden area first.

Figure 1 Length Figure 2 Width
To determine the lenght (Figure1), using a steel tape measure, measure along the back of the pew seat from inside end to inside end. If the pew has a center divider, measure each section separately from the pew end to the divider. Record the lenght to the nearest one quarter inch.To determine the width (Figure2), measure from the back corner of the seat (where seat & back meet) to the start of the radius at the front edge. If the radius is large (Figure3), then measure half way down the radius.

About the Foam in our Pew Cushions
- All our FOAM is the finest polyurethane available. The durability, as well as flexibility of polyurethane is equal to latex foam. We recommend and use a Hi-Resilience 60-65 lb compression foam with a 2.65 support factor, for the best comfort and durability in our seating cushions.
- This very firm foam will last many years where softer foams break down, causing "bottoming out" in a year or two.
- Our altar rail kneeling cushions and Altar Server kneeler have a firmer 70 lb compression.
- We use an 8lb Bonded Foam in our Kneeling Hassocks for comfort and extra stability.
- Our foam will not dry out, crumble or become lumpy with prolonged use. It will provide a firmand comfortable cushion which will last!
