Processional Crosses are made of brass or bronze with a cast aluminum corpus.
Most of our Processional Crosses or Processional Crucifixes may be ordered without the corpus (body), please call for details.
The Processional Cross comes with a 12" diam. bronze base that features a bronze shaft with an aluminum plug at the top. The shaft of the processional tube (the part below the cross) fits down over this plug for a tight fit when the cross is in the stand. When processing, you are carrying just the top half or so of the cross.
The section of tube that is carried is coated with a clear coat finish for additional protection against tarnishing.
The base (#S1) is 12" round with a satin finish. You can order additional bases (S1,S2 or S3) for storage or to keep at the back of the church.
